Inspiration for the Odonota earrings draws from dragonfly wing structure and
pattern. Its membrane-to-beam composition is an evolutionary response
to force flow exhibited on the wing during flight. Over time environmental
forces have reduced the wing’s solidity to a dematerialized state where
weight, strength, and performance come into a dynamic relation resulting in
an optimal structural pattern that is as beautiful as it is functional.
Made of a very light-weight plastic, 3D printed and hand finished.
