It means that the fabric of a t-shirt has already been shrunk to an extent through heat treatment.
Can pre-shrunk t-shirts shrink even more?
It sounds contradictory but yes, they can still shrink by 2% - 5% if you don't follow proper care instructions.
How do I take care of my Temasek Clothings tee?
With great care and these tips, any tee you own will last you a long time. We recommend hand washing your tee inside-out and air-drying it for best results. If you have to use a washing machine, always use cold water. To avoid any extra shrinkage, it's also best that you don't throw your tee in the dryer. If you absolutely have to tumble dry it, the recommended maximum setting is 5 mins on low heat.
